The UK Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is set to announce her first budget today.
Traditionally the report starts at 12.30pm.
And there are a number of big hitting headlines.
The first being a £40 billion hole needing to be filled, and the pledge is it's got to come from tax hikes and spending cuts.
On the table are: increased National Insurance contributions from employers, changes to capital gains tax, changes to inheritance tax loopholes, changes to stamp duty, and changes to pension tax rules.
That's a lot of potentials on the table.
And a final point, which has gone quiet recently, is the chance of an exit tax on anyone emigrating.
Expect a turbulent day for GBP rates today with traders placing their bets on cause and effect of policy making.
In and around that it's hardly a quiet day for scheduled news.
Eurozone GDP numbers (quarterly growth of 0.2% expected), US GDP numbers (3% expected), and finally the Bank of Japan interest rate decision early tomorrow.
Business news is fully centred on the UK budget with various predictions on the above.
