It could be a choppy day in the currency markets today.
There's no less than 14 speeches from the FED and the ECB today.
The highlights will be the ECB President, Christine Lagarde, and the FED Chair, Jerome Powell.
These speeches are often benign. However, every so often, commentary can cause big swings in currency rates.
Around and about these speeches there's US durable goods orders data and US GDP numbers.
For the latter, analysts are predicting annualised Q2 growth of 3%.
Going into tomorrow there's Japanese inflation numbers out where the consensus is for annualised growth of 2%.
Business news is scarce on the ground today with nothing momentous enough to move the markets.
