This afternoon sees the non farm payroll report in the US.
Analysts are expecting 185,000 jobs to have been added in May.
This would indicate a burgeoning economy in the US as full time work numbers are expanding.
Whilst that's the big number out today, it's not the only scheduled news with a bit of clout.
First off the bat is Eurozone GDP where quarterly growth of 0.3% is expected, and at the same time as the non farms there's Canadian unemployment.
After the US report the President of the ECB, Christine Lagarde, gives a speech, so it's shaping up to be a potentially lively day.
If that wasn't enough the early hours of Monday sees Japanese GDP numbers. The expectation there is for quarterly contraction of -0.5%.
Business news centres on the often mentioned UK rental market. Rental prices are far outstripping property price increases as landlords pass on the increased rate of borrowing.
